I spent last year traveling with my Sea to Summit Tek towel and a $6 cotton towel. I am very discouraged to say that most of the time my quick drying towel took longer to dry then my $6 dollar towel. Alongside this the quick drying towel also held odors. It did pack down nice and small and was easy to travel with, it just didn't preform as well as I would have liked.
