The Big Rideau 16' is a versatile canoe suitable for various of activities but is best suited as a light weight cottage cruiser or a family camping canoe. The Big Rideau is appropriate for both beginner and expert paddlers. Its 38" width makes it a stable boat as well as an ideal canoe for groups with lots of gear or little ones coming along for the ride.
Basalt Innegra, the most economical lay-up in our infusion canoe line. This laminate features a sturdy, yet relatively light-weight construction, offering many of the same benefits of more expensive Kevlar. Foam core ribs and floor insert add strength in key structural areas, while the interior of the boats have been distinctively dyed to matches the exterior gel coat colour.
