Ideal for tripping, the Calabogie 16 is an asymmetrical canoe that paddles easily as either a tandem or solo. Its shallow draft makes it very fast and its moderate rocker allows it to go straight, yet being able to perform sharp maneuvers very easily. Wider at the waterline and narrower at the gunwales, the Calabogie allows users to keep their paddle blade close to the boat for increased efficiency, especially while paddling solo.
Basalt Innegra, the most economical lay-up in our infusion canoe line. This laminate features a sturdy, yet relatively light-weight construction, offering many of the same benefits of more expensive Kevlar. Foam core ribs and floor insert add strength in key structural areas.
