A 35-centimeter, stainless steel saw that cuts snow, ice, and wood, and comes with a blade-covering sheath
The all-around 35-centimeter saw that can cut snow, ice, or wood. The stainless steel blade comes with a protective sheath.
The BCA 35-centimeter snow saw not only cuts snow and ice, but also wood. It is the ideal length for isolating snow columns for stability tests. The blade comes equipped with a protective sheath, to prevent it from ripping or scratching up your gear. Laser-etched markings every 5 centimeters on the blade allow for a precise cut. The 14/16-millimeter diameter lower stud allows attachment to an adjustable ski pole with a 14- or 16-millimeter clamp. Designed with North America’s most experienced avalanche educators, the saw is a high functioning snow safety tool. The 35-centimeter saw is a BCA tool that is necessary to possess for pit-digging, and is required in most avalanche classes. The snow saw snaps into the upper shaft of the BCA Scepter adjustable ski poles. The snow saw will also fit on other touring ski poles, since the mount on the saw has two different diameters.
