Black Diamond Powder Baskets

When the snow piles up and your regular pole tips start punching through instead of planting, it's time for Black Diamond Powder Baskets. Swap them onto your poles before a deep day of backcountry skiing, ski touring, or snowshoeing and you'll notice the difference on the very first stride: the oversized 100 mm shape spreads the load across the snow surface so your pole stays on top instead of disappearing to your elbow. They slide onto any Black Diamond flex tip pole in seconds, which makes them an easy fix if a basket snapped off on a root last season or you're simply upgrading before the storm cycle hits. Sold as a pair, they're a small, affordable way to get a lot more out of the poles already in your quiver.
