Built in Kevlar, this square-back canoe tips the scale at just 72 lb (32.7 kg), so one person can portage it to the put-in while the rest of the crew handles the gear. Once you're on the water, the MacKenzie flexes to however you want to travel: hang a 2 to 3 HP outboard or an electric motor up to 48-60 lb thrust off the transom for effortless cruising, add the optional rowing rig for solo trips, or grab a paddle and enjoy the stability this Clipper is known for. With room to load up to 1300 lb of gear and still keep 7 inches of freeboard, the MacKenzie 16.5 is built for anglers, hunters, and backcountry campers who need a boat that goes further with less hassle.
