Clipper Canoe Prospector 17' Fiberglass

Some canoes are built for speed, some for stability, and some for hauling a week's worth of gear into the backcountry - the Clipper Prospector 17' Fiberglass manages to do all three without asking you to compromise. Load it up with packs, a cooler, and a dog who insists on sitting in the bow, and this hull just settles in and gets more stable the heavier it gets. That same forgiving nature makes it a natural fit for a lazy afternoon paddle with the kids, since the high sides and steady feel take the stress out of family outings. Despite its generous cargo capacity, it tracks true and moves efficiently through the water, so you are not fighting the canoe on long travel days or fighting your own arms by the time you reach camp. Whether you are planning a multi-day wilderness trip through the Canadian Shield or a summer afternoon on the lake, the Prospector 17' is the kind of dependable, do-it-all tandem canoe that quietly becomes the boat you reach for every single time.
