The Wayback 98 is the all-rounder in K2's Wayback touring line, narrow enough for a spring tour and wide enough for variable snow. K2 builds its Titanal Touring Technology around the downhill, so a titanal spine and carbon Overdrive sit in a Paulownia Tour Light core. All-Terrain Rocker raises the tip gradually, which helps in softer snow. The topsheet is Snophobic, a hydrophobic finish meant to shed snow. The 179 cm length weighs 1,390 g per ski.
