Description
The X Ultra 5 GTX is a low-cut waterproof hiking shoe for day hikes on mixed terrain, from muddy forest floor to wet rock. Salomon lines it with a PFC-free GORE-TEX membrane, so creek crossings and rain stay outside. The Matryx upper blends Kevlar fibres with technical yarn to stand up to scrapes from rock and brush. A one-pull QuickLace system tightens the fit in a single motion, and the extra lace tucks into a pocket on the shoe.
