Description
Description
The Spot 400-R is a compact rechargeable headlamp for dawn patrols, evening cragging and chores around camp. Black Diamond gave it a low-profile body for better balance on the forehead. A close-range peripheral light covers cooking, reading and sorting gear. A three-LED battery meter shows how much charge is left before you leave the trailhead. The elastic headband is made with Repreve recycled textiles.
Features
- Rechargeable 1500 mAh Li-ion battery with a micro-USB charge port, so there are no spare cells to carry
- Three-LED battery meter that shows how much power remains
- PowerTap Technology that jumps from any setting straight to full output with a tap
- Brightness Memory that turns the light on at the brightness you last chose, not a default
- Patented digital lock that stops the lamp switching on inside a pack or pocket
- Red night-vision mode with dimming and strobe that switches on without passing through white light
- Proximity and distance modes at full strength, plus dimming and strobe
- Peripheral lighting for close-range jobs like cooking, reading and sorting gear
- Recycled elastic headband with Repreve fibre, soft against the skin
