Faber North Cliff 8x25 Snowshoe

The North Cliff snowshoe was created with idea of offering an affordable and easy to use day hiking snowshoe for mountainous terrain. Our patented wing traction decking design makes efficient use of materials, allowing use to build snowshoe that is 20 % lighter than standard aluminium models, as well as making it greener, more affordable and easier to walk with. The North Cliff features our unique three adjustment heel lifter to reduce muscles fatigue during climbs. This snowshoe has all the technical specifications needed for any snowshoer who is looking for a quality, long lasting all around snowshoe.
This series of mountain hiking snowshoes is made with our WTD patented decking and a open rear end aluminium frame with powder coating finish to prevent snow adhesion. The North Cliff is assemble with our Sport pivoting system, incorporating an axis made from high-density carbon steel that is twice as strong as stainless steel and 40% lighter. This suspended pivot will provide great comfort and control on uneven terrain. Positioned up front with full rotation + blocker, this system is ideal for use on and off-trail. This series has low temperature impact copolymer decking to withstand temperatures down to -40 C (-40 F) and is treated against U.V. rays.
These snowshoes are equipped with the Quattro 3ZE binding, a triple zenith buckle binding with toe box. The aluminium 4.5 inch-long front claw and the 5 inch-long rear cramponprovide great traction on rugged terrain. The three adjustment heel lifter integrated in the heel plate eases climbing and is easily deployed either by hand or with the aid of a pole.
