Outdoor Research Helios Sun Hat

Picture yourself on a sun-drenched trail or casting a line from the dock at midday, the kind of light that bounces off the water and finds every inch of exposed skin. The Outdoor Research Helios Sun Hat keeps that glare and heat in check with a wide, flat brim that wraps 360 degrees around your head, plus a UPF 50+ rating that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Lightweight and quick-drying, it breathes easily in the heat and keeps you cool whether you're hiking switchbacks, paddling a canoe, or just lounging at camp by the lake. A removable chin cord locks the hat down when the wind picks up on open water or exposed ridgelines, and a one-handed drawcord lets you dial in the fit without breaking stride. When the sun finally dips, fold it flat and tuck it into your pack for the next adventure.
