We got rid of our sit in kayaks after trying this model owned by a friend. So much more versatile with lots of storage, and I now use it to fish. Main rod holder but also two behind the seat. Seat has high back which is good for my bad back. It's very comfortable. And the darned thing is so stable in the water!!! Love this boat. Recommend 100%.
This kayak is a champ for the cottage. We rent our unit and include 4 of these kayaks and our reviews often include compliment on the quality, stability and comfort of these kayaks by our guests. And they seem indestructible. Sit on but very stable and the high back seat make them very comfortable. Strongly recommend these.
Amazing kayak for casual kayaking on rivers and lakes. Very stable and tracks very well. What is great about this kayak is the high seat back makes any trip extremely comfortable. We pop ours on our car and take day trips to local rivers and lakes to explore. Used the fish holders once and they worked well. Lots of storage too. I think you can add a rudder if you want, but really not necessary. Have had ours for 3 summers and we absolutely love them.
Bought this Kayak for my family to paddle around at the lake, very stable - I use it to fish from, and tour around the lake with. Found it tracked well and was still stable when it was in rougher water. Looking for a cottage kayak for the kids - go with this one.
