YakAttack BlackPak Pro 16" x 16" Kayak Fishing Crate

The fully-riggable BlackPak Pro’s hinged lid, best-in-class functionality, and 25% weight savings are the results of over a year of intensive R&D and collaboration. Lots of the enhancements are things that you’re prepared for, and some of them are, true to the brand, features that no one even saw coming.

The lid is water-shedding, and its hinges are fully-adjustable, so that it can go from free-pivoting to maintaining the lid position even when you’re not holding it up. The overtravel stops are integrated, the rubber bumpers dampen any noise during closing, and the CatchLatch retention system is simple, but keeps the lid remarkably secure.

The three TetherTube rod holders have easily-removable integrated hook and tether systems, so you don’t need to worry about chasing flying rods if things go sideways. There are multiple hook points, thanks to the caged attachment points on both sides of the tube, and the shaft of your rod attaches directly to the oversized hook design, if you so choose. Using at least three of the four standoff pads, you can mount the TetherTube rod holder to the GridLoc panels, for multiple vertical positions: high for long-butted rods, or low for elevating into the HighNDry position.

You don’t need to worry about scaring the fish away, thanks to the noise-dampening rubber feet, and holding the crate down is a breeze, thanks to the Omni corner brackets (which are designed as attachment points for generic hoods, carabiners, simple bungees, or YakAttack OmniHooks, of which four are included. This crate was designed to store tons of different tackle boxes, including the ones that you probably already have. And the GridLoc 2D mounting system offers fully-modular customization options, thanks to its multitude of internal and external attachment points - more accessories are coming out for this system every day!
