Goatskin covers the palm and backhand, with extra goatskin patches where gloves wear out first, so they suit patrollers, guides and anyone who digs pits or sets boundary lines. Darted fingers are meant to keep the glove comfortable and dexterous from the first day. A GORE-TEX insert keeps them waterproof and breathable, and a wrist leash plus a carabiner loop give you somewhere to clip them when your hands come out.
