Altra Experience Wild 3+ GTX Shoe Men's

When the forecast calls for mud, slush, or that unpredictable Ottawa-to-Rockies trail weather, the Altra Experience Wild 3+ GTX is the shoe that lets you keep moving. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper wraps your foot in a lightweight, fully waterproof layer, so puddles and stream crossings stop being a reason to turn back. Underfoot, a Vibram Megagrip outsole with TractionLug digs into slick roots and wet rock while an integrated toe bumper fends off the odd stray stump. The new Altra EGO P35 midsole foam gives every stride a light, responsive bounce, and Altra's signature foot-shaped fit leaves room for your toes to splay naturally while a secure midfoot locks everything in place. A low 4mm drop and rocker geometry promote a natural, efficient toe-off, so long days on technical singletrack feel smoother with fewer miles in your legs. Clip on a Trail Gaiter through the integrated GaiterTrap detail and you've got a shoe ready for anything the backcountry throws at it, rain or shine.
