The Echelon Ecoloft is a waterproof insulated jacket for snowy commutes and cold, wet days on the mountain. Outdoor Research pairs a 2L ripstop shell, rated 20k waterproof, with recycled Ecoloft insulation that is heavier in the torso (80 g) and lighter in the sleeves and hood (60 g). That puts the warmth around your core and leaves your arms freer to move. Grid fleece stretch panels add give where you flex, and the hood has a brim wire and a lock that cinches it down with or without a helmet. A hidden clip in the hand pocket holds your keys.
