The Newhalem is a thin, snug beanie for cold, windy days of touring, alpine climbing or expedition-style trips. Outdoor Research builds it from Gore-Tex Windstopper fabric, so it blocks wind while still breathing and wicking moisture on high-output days. The close-to-head cut keeps bulk down, which makes it easy to slide under a helmet or hood. The only branding is a heat transfer logo, so nothing sits stitched on the surface.
