Description
The Prospector shape is a trip-canoe classic, and this Trailhead Canoes version suits multi-day flatwater expeditions as well as day paddles. It is set up for two paddlers, and a solo paddler can handle it too. The hull is red cedar strips over white cedar ribs, with a clear fibreglass cloth and epoxy coat on the outside to protect the wood. The inside is finished in UV-resistant marine varnish, and the seats, yoke and thwart are mahogany.
