We’re so confident in the advice our staff gives, that we offer a 30 day boat exchange guarantee, valid from the date of purchase (unless you purchase your boat in winter, see below).
You can usually tell with the first paddle whether your boat or SUP is suited to your needs. When you buy a kayak, canoe or stand up paddle board from us, we give you 30 days to paddle your watercraft. If you find it doesn’t suit your needs, simply exchange it for another watercraft in the store.
Things to Keep in Mind
Any scratches, dents or other damage will be depreciated from the exchange value. A manager will make this determination. Water won’t hurt the boat, but dragging it over rocks and sand will. We suggest you walk a few feet in the water on your first paddle, in order to ensure the boat doesn’t hit the bottom.
Before bringing your watercraft back, please ensure that it is clean and free of water, sand or dirt, both inside and out. Vacuuming the inside of the kayak is the best way to get rid of that pesky sand.
Buying in the off-season? (November - May)
Buying a watercraft between November and May? We understand that for most people it’s a bit cold during those months to go for a paddle and test your boat. That’s why we give you the month of May to test paddle your kayak, canoe or stand up paddleboard.
