We are looking for a Sales Associate in the clothing department to join our friendly, dedicated and creative team. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and a passion for our apparel and accessories. This position requires a high level of energy and an ability to be attentive to customers' needs. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for assisting other members of the sales team, performing administrative duties, restocking inventory and being an integral part of the creative process. Key Responsibilities:

Sales associates in the ski department play an important part in the store during the winter season. A great customer experience comes from the knowledge and advice our sales associates can provide and the relationships that they create.     • Explain boot/binding systems
    • Size and camber test skis
    • Undersatand the differences between skis
  • Communicate winter shop services to customers
  • Complete work order forms for the ski technician and communicate appropriate wait times
  • Organize and maintain ski department in accordance with the standards set by the store and management
  • Maintain standards on related softgoods in the department
  • Answers phone calls and responds to customers’ questions
  • Assists with stocking the floor with product
  • Help in keeping the department clean and organized
  • Keep up to date on new product arrivals and current promotions
  • Assists with opening and closing tasks
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a retail environment
  • Experience with cross-country skis and equipment
  • Experience in alpine-touring skis is considered an asset (Please specify in application if you have experience)

The Assistant Manager is a key player in our retail store, responsible for helping manage the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, assisting customers, and handling administrative duties. Your passion for outdoor activities and your leadership skills will be critical in fostering an environment where staff members feel inspired, customers feel well taken care of, and our store operates smoothly and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
  • Supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service and foster a strong sales-oriented atmosphere.
  • Support in managing inventory, including organizing store displays, and ensuring merchandise is correctly accounted for, priced and promoted.
  • Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to guide and advise customers on the best choices for their outdoor activities.
  • Handle customer queries, issues, and complaints with utmost professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the store meets health and safety regulations.
  • Support the planning and execution of in-store events and promotional activities.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market research to improve sales strategies and store performance.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably within the outdoor industry.
  • Passion for Travel and Outdoor activities, with knowledge of Skiing, Hiking, Paddling and Camping.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle situations under pressure.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with retail POS software and Google suite is an asset.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working on ladders
