At the heart of the Värmdö is its Cork-Core construction. It’s Melker's lightest layup, with an eponymous sandwiched cork core, flax fibers in the deck, GreenPoxy resin, and GreenCoat, all combined in a high-end vacuum-infusion and heat-cure process. This plant-based construction isn’t just durable and feather-light - it’s also revolutionarily sustainable, ensuring that the waters we love to play on remain clean and beautiful for generations to come.

Beyond the innovative materials, this sleek kayak is chock-full of features that make it a dream to paddle. The premium seat can be mounted in three different positions, so you can tailor your cockpit feel for different paddlers, different conditions, or even just different days of the week. The skeg is adjustable and rope-operated, so you can track true through any water. But if you prefer a rudder, the Värmdö is delivered ready to accept one (but you’ll need to buy the rudder on your own)!

Beyond its ability to play in all kinds of water, the Värmdö has enough storage for overnight trips, with covered inside cockpit storage, two foredeck hatches, and a recessed area to hold a water bottle or a pump.
