Patagonia's design for the Duckbill Cap was inspired by their ultrarunning ambassadors: folding down to fit in a pocket, this short-brim cap is lightweight and highly breathable, thanks to the mesh panels at the back of the crown. The front panel is treated with a PFAS-free DWR finish to repel light moisture, and its sweatband is soft and moisture-wicking. It's also responsibly-made, being built in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, from sustainable materials including bluesign-approved recycled fabrics and reclaimed fishing nets.
- Made with recycled materials, including NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled fishing nets, to reduce the level of plastic pollution in the ocean
- Packable foam brim, for easy packing, and strong rebound into its original shape when unpacked
- Dark-colored underbill for glare-reduction
- Quick-wicking internal sweatband for low-profile, high-quality moisture- and temperature-management
