Welcome to the world of touring bindings with the Crest 10.
If ATK weren't so proudly Italian, they would say the Crest is their Swiss Army knife. Weighing only 295 grams, it offers a range of lateral and vertical release values from 4 to 10, up to 20 millimeters of length adjustment, and ATK’s patented Elastic Response System. Whether you're a rookie or an expert skier, the Crest delivers everything you need for a successful and enjoyable touring experience.
Features
- Toe Piece: Speed Toe Piece | Redesigned to improve downhill performance with its hybrid mounting pattern: narrow at the front holes, and wide at the rear. Its ergonomic lever, designed with a specific joint, makes opening, step-out, and closing operations easier. The Speed Toe Piece also includes ATK’s Snowpack Proof System, carefully designed to prevent snow and ice from accumulating under the locking mechanism, ensuring it remains safe and easy-to- operate, even on the coldest days with frequent transitions. This also avoids snow loads on the toe piece, granting a perfect lightness at any moment
- Toe Piece: Easy Entry System® | Carefully studied geometries that facilitate the step-in | This system is characterised by a new design of the toe piece. Its innovative geometries allow a smooth step-in, which is safe and easy-to-perform on all the latest boot models. Effective even if the soles are worn
- Toe Piece: Integrated-but-removeable Rampant Support
- Heel Piece: Elastic Response System® | Ensures precise releases and optimal skis performances by facilitating their natural flex, enhancing downhill performances | When under stress, skis flex and compress. Under these circumstances, the heel piece can slide towards the tail and repositions itself once normal conditions are restored, thanks to ELASTIC RESPONSE SYSTEM®
- Heel Piece: AP Brake System® | Available in sizes from 86-millimeters to 102-millimeters. To switch from descent to ascent mode, press the pedal all the way with one hand, and rotate the heel piece head 180° with the other hand. Conversely, to switch from ascent to descent mode, simply rotate the heel piece once again | The new ATK patented system: simply press the pedal and rotate the heel piece to lock the ski brake. Activated by a simple move, this mechanism guarantees a safe use while improving the level of automatism of the bindings
- Heel Piece: Magneto Heel Flap System® | An ingenious mechanism that manages the heel flaps through two different magnets. Comfy and precise even when used with poles | As ingenious as it is simple, this magnet system provides the handling and stabilization of the heel flaps. There are different versions of the heel flaps, each one paired with the right binding model
- Heel Piece: Cam Release System® | ATK’s signature patented system that contributes to an effortless step-in, and grants amazing torsional stiffness | The CAM Release System drives the step-in and the vertical release in case of fall. A special CAM profile is pressed towards the heel pins by a pre-tensioned spring: when the step-in or a release occurs, the pins are forced to follow the CAM profile and provide a precise release
- Heel Piece: Up to 20 millimeters of length-adjustment
- Heel Piece: Both lateral and vertical release value are adjustable

- Performing Through Lightness | ATK’s foundation, ATK’s roots. ATK took its first steps in this industry by developing lightweight race bindings, and now, as then, lightness is key to achieving what athletes crave: speed. Therefore, it's easy to understand why “performance through lightness” has been the mantra that has accompanied ATK's growth in its early years. As ATK’s role in the ski mountaineering universe started to evolve, they needed some stabilization because it's easy to lose control during a phase of growth, just as it is easy to get caught up in the events. That's why they decided to keep their roots stable, not changing their approach to the activity, and ultimately not getting in their own way. In fact, as they expanded their catalog to include the speed touring, touring, and free touring categories, they remained steadfast in their commitment to enabling an ever-wider range of ski mountaineers to achieve performance through lightness
