The Panga® Backpack is an airtight citadel, merging the durability of the Panga® Duffel with a tried-and-true backpack design. Its ergonomic DryHaul™ Shoulder Straps offer extra carrying comfort, while the removable chest straps and waist belt provide added stability and security while you trek. And no need to carry it over your head while you wade, or worry if it’s left out in the rain, because it’s a 100% waterproof gear fortress, equipped to outperform any other backpack out there.

- What Does “Submersible” Mean? | Submersible means that no water will get in, when properly closed. In fact, Yeti has tested this to IPX7 ––a global industry rating. That means that when zipped, the contents inside of the bag are protected against water immersion for 30 minutes, at a depth of one meter
- How Do I Ensure It’s Properly Closed? | Close the zipper completely by sliding it fully into the U-Dock™ and apply pressure. Listen for any air that might have broken the seal. If you hear or notice any air leaks, make sure that the zipper is fully closed, and then test again
- What Accessories Are Compatible with This Backpack? | The Panga® 28L Waterproof Backpack can be paired with the SideKick Dry® Gear Case, all Rambler® Bottle Slings, and the MOLLE Bottle Opener; many of these accessories are sold at Trailhead Paddle Shack
- How Tough Are These Bags? | The ThickSkin™ Shell material, EVA-molded bottom, MetalLock™ Hardware, reinforced QuickGrab™ Lash Points, and HydroLok™ Zipper are all extensively tested, and proven to be highly durable
- Is This Waterproof Backpack a Cooler? | No. The Panga® Waterproof Backpack is not a cooler, and has no insulating properties. If you need a cooler that carries as a backpack, check out the Hopper® M20 Backpack Soft Cooler, sold at Trailhead Paddle Shack
- What Should I Pack In My Waterproof Backpack? | Use is for spare clothes, electronics, ammunition, fishing licenses, sunscreen, and any other gear that you want to be protected from the elements, but available while on the move
- How Do I Care For My Waterproof Bag? | A mixture of dish soap and water will do the trick. Rinse with fresh water, thoroughly wipe the inside dry, and apply the zipper lubricant. When dry, store your Panga® Bag in the fully closed position
- Can I Use It As A Carry-On? | Yes, but always check with your airline before traveling
- Is There a Warranty? | Yes, Panga® Waterproof Bags come with a three-year warranty from YETI®
